Run on the OnGame Network of poker rooms, this new room has seen some very steady growth in player numbers recently. Chan Poker offers great initial deposit bonuses, lots of guaranteed monthly and weekly tournaments as well as a good amount of game variety.

The software at ChanPoker is very good, with a clean look and lobby that is easy to navigate. The 3D characters are cool and the sound effects are nice, along with a slick look to the tables, players will enjoy playing here. The color scheme is little greys which makes navigating and finding games quite easy. Those players who run on Mac or Linux will be happy to know that they can use the no download browser version of Chan Poker. Windows players can either use the download or no download version.

First time depositors can receive up to $1000 (100% of their initial deposit) at Chan Poker. Reload bonuses are worth up to $500 (100% of deposit). Players are also awarded two tickets to the $20 tournaments. Bonus money is awarded incrementally unless your bonus is lower than $100 in which case you will receive your full bonus amount. The more bonus money a player is eligible for the more incremental payments they will receive. If a player is eligible for a full $1000 bonus, it will be release in 4 payments.

As with most new online poker rooms, there are plenty of new players many of which are very loose in their play, especially when those players are at micro limit and low limit cash games. As a whole here, the competition is somewhat weak.

A major plus for Chan Poker is that they are part of a large online poker network called OnGame Network. With this comes about 20,000 other online poker players. Although the majority of the ring table players are going to be congregating at the Texas Hold'em tables with a few others at the Omaha tables. Not many folks are interested in staying long at the stud tables, yet.

Being a relatively new online poker room, you can expect to see lower levels of traffic, but the traffic at Chan Poker has been increasing steadily since they opened their virtual doors. One reason for the increase in traffic is the promotions offered here, including the WSOP packages. Players come to Chan Poker to play in the great freeroll and weekly guaranteed games. When looking at the ring game traffic you will notice that the vast majority of players are seated at the lower limit Texas Hold'em games.

A big concern for players at a new online poker room is 'how good is there support department? Chan Poker support is only offered via email. Most players see that as a disadvantage, because it can tend to be time consuming to get answers.
