Summary (6.3)

CD Poker is one of the better online poker rooms in terms of their software and promotions. They have a very nice looking online poker room, with a clean, neat look that is also quite user friendly. Even though the traffic at CDPoker isn’t very high there is still a good amount of competition. This room is a great place to build up a nice bankroll. One downside to this online poker room is the lack of poker variants available, with only Texas Hold’em and Omaha to currently choose from.
Software (7)

Having one of the best online poker clients in terms of software, CD Poker is one of my favorite places to play. Graphics are great and even though the software is two-dimensional, it is still a nice place to play. With note taking capability, hand history and buddy lists, you will enjoy playing here.
Bonuses (6)

The current available online poker bonus for CD Poker is 50% up to $200. The bonus is easy to earn. Players earn CD Points at ring table games and tournaments in order to have their first deposit bonus released. CDPoints are awarded to players for each hand in which they participate, as long as the hand is raked, no matter whether the player contributed to the pot by placing a blind or a bet, or whether the player folded. There is a complete list on CD’s website as to how the points are earned. Beware though, as you only have 90 days in which to claim your bonus. A reload bonus of 50% up to $300 is also available.
Promotions (7)

There is a nice variety of promotions currently running at CDPoker. With over a half million dollars being awarded to players at Hold’em tables, Sit-n-go Jackpot games and a $25,000 guaranteed tournament here, you are bound to find a game you like. CD Poker is also hosting 5 Super Satellite Tournaments where the winners will have a choice of prize packages valued at $12,000, including all five WPT events. There is also a $50 refer-a-friend bonus. Players can also earn their way into ECOOP tournaments.
Players (5)

For the most part, players at CD Poker are average or slightly below average. Competition at the low stakes ring tables and low buy-in tournaments is generally quite soft. On the other hand, if you are playing at the high stakes tables the competition gets a lot better as these are more experienced and generally better players. Most of the time at the medium and low stake tables you will notice a flop view percentage around 60%.
Variety (3)

Obviously, the area with the lowest score needs the most improvement. The reason for the low score in this category is that CD Poker currently only offers Texas Hold’em, Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo. On the positive side there are several
varieties within those games, like heads-up and turbo. If CD Poker decides to add more variety to their poker game choices this score will definitely improve.
Site Traffic (4)

Generally speaking there are about 4000 players on CD poker during peak times, with numbers increasing slightly during higher payout guaranteed tournaments.
Most of those players are either in tournaments or at the Texas Hold’em tables. If can be quite difficult to find players at ring tables especially at the medium and high stakes tables.
Cash Games (6)

During peak hours, you will see around 4,000 players on CD Poker here for tournaments and ring table play. Just like the vast majority of online poker rooms, about 75% of the traffic here is concentrated at tournaments, with the other 25% at ring table games. And the majority of players seated at the ring table games will be seen at lower level Texas Hold’em tables. Traffic here generally increases with the approach of the WSOP due to satellite games for entry into major tournaments offered.
Support (8)

The high quality support and easy access to customer service representatives earns high scores at CD Poker. Available options for support include email support, live chat and telephone support 24/7.
Site Security (9)

There have been no reported problems with site security at CDPoker.
Banking (8)

CD Poker offers a wide variety of banking options for both deposits and cashouts. Deposit methods for players include Credit Card, Click2Pay, FirePay, NETeller, OnDemandFunds, Moneybookers, Citadel, Wire Transfer, INSTADEBIT, CentralCoin, EcoCard, Bank Draft, UseMyBank, PaySafeCard and ewalletXpress.
Though still several methods to choose from, the cashout options are a little more limited with NETeller, FirePay, Moneybookers, Wire Transfer, INSTADEBIT, EcoCard and Bank Draft available to players.
