Carbon Poker is a newer addition to the Merge Gaming Network and grew from what was Poker. As a member of the Merge Gaming Network, you will certainly see great software on carbon poker. With clean and clear graphics the functionality here is above average. Players have the ability to add different tags to their opponents such as ‘sharks’ or ‘fish’. There are also added features in the lobby for players to see the average pot size, percentage of hands playing, and the hands player per hour. The only limiting feature here is that you can only view a single window, but you can tab though other games. That format can be bad in that players may mistakenly make a call on the wrong table.

Generally speaking, the players here are quite soft. This site could possibly be the best online poker room to make a profit off of that soft competition. Players here are also remarkably friendly, haven’t seen anyone on tilt yet, with the exception of myself.

While its predecessor only offered a few games, Carbon Poker has an awesome variety of games. From the typical games like Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7-Card Stud Hi/Lo to the harder to find games like Razz, 5-Card Stud, Ace to 5 Lowball, Badugi, Blackjack, and Backgammon. Carbon Poker has quite a fee freerolls everyday, including $50,000 freeroll on the last Sunday of the month, a $10,000 freeroll every Sunday, $2000 freeroll every Saturday, and $1000 freerolls every Monday through Friday, a $500 Freeroll for New Depositing Players, $50 freerolls every 2 hours, $50 New Player freerolls every 3 hours. Please remember to check CarbonPoker terms and conditions for freeroll eligibility requirements. The table limits on the game varieties vary from game to game with some limits starting as low as $.01/.02 for Stud, $.02/.04 for Texas Hold’em and go up to $50/100. With such heavy promotions on the freerolls at Carbon Poker, and the quite generous payouts on those, the traffic here is increasing steadily. Generally you will see about 4,000 players online with the majority of those players involved in tournament play.
Cash Games (7)
Since the start of the promotions for WSOP, WPT and APPT satellites, the amount of players seated at the ring tables here has dropped a bit. But the traffic at the tournaments has increased steadily as people are trying to win their seats to the all of those events and the Aussie Millions, with an average of about 3,000 players seated.

Ugh! The only support option at Carbon Poker right now is email support. That’s right, now live support and no phone support. Scores in this area would greatly improve if more support options were offered. The only upside to the email support is that the response time for emails is generally about an hour, twice as long though as Carbon Poker claims the emails will be responded to. I feel that once they begin to offer telephone support and/or in-game support these issues of timely customer responses will be resolved.

Several options are available here for both deposits and cashouts. You can use any of the following methods to make your deposit: Click2Pay, Neteller (in select countries only), ePassporte, MoneyBookers, my Citadel, Visa or Matercard, EcoCard, eWalletXpress, Fonelinx and also the newest addition, Pindebit. The withdrawl methods are generally the same except for the option to withdrawl by Check for US and Canandian players. I have made just one withdrawl from Carbon Poker by Check and if memory serves me correctly I received the check about 7 days after I made my cashout request.
