When playing here you may just see celebrities like former BackStreet Boy Nick Carter, or actor Lou Diamond Phillips, and even European sports stars like Ken Doherty, Lawrence Dallagio or Mark Williams.

With a clean design and a very need lobby area, CelebPoker’s online client is very functional and makes navigating quite easy. You can find tab options for players that include access to customer support and your player profile. Within the lobby of the client, you will find some helpful statistics like flop percentages and average hands played per hour. The one drawback here is that there is no ability to resize your tables, making it necessary to click back and forth between tables. Celebrities playing will be easy to sport because of their Celebrity Name Tags. A visible timer is a nice feature here during both tournament and cash games.

For some strange reason, one of the most common poker varieties is missing at CelebPoker. No limit Omaha is no where to be found! But the rest of the games are good, offering a decent variety of games. You can play Texas Hold’em, 7 Card Stud, Omaha, limit only, and 5 Card Stud. Plenty of heads up games are available, in both tournament and cash games.

The tournament traffic at Celeb Poker is pretty good. Maybe that is because they are part of the Boss Media Network. Another reason for their high tournament traffic is that the buy-ins for tournaments range from very low to a few hundred bucks, making it easy for players with small bankrolls to play in tournaments. More than €300 Million is now guaranteed in monthly tournaments. Celeb also runs satellite games to WSOP events and to other large live poker events.

Again, as with many other online poker rooms, the cash games don’t get nearly the traffic that the tournament games do. That being said, cash games here are decent and actually pretty good at the lower limits. You can also play Texas Hold’em heads up at the cash tables.

I haven’t dealt too much with the support department here, which tends to speak highly for Celeb. But they do offer great support options in the way of toll free 24/7 telephone support, live chat support and email support. Email support issues are generally responded to within 12 hours of the request.
