Phil Ivey is a 32 year old professional poker player who was born in California and raised in New Jersey. When Phil was 8 years old he got his first poker lesson from his grandfather, who would occasionally cheat to show Phil the dangers of gambling. When Phil was 18 he got a fake ID and started playing poker in Atlantic City poker rooms. Phil moved to Atlantic City when he was 21 to start playing professionally. He is currently known as the ‘Tiger Woods of Poker’. He is a WSOP bracelet winner and part of the Full Tilt Poker design team. He and his wife reside in Las Vegas.
