Americas Cardroom Review
Summary (8.5)

America’s Cardroom Poker started its operations in 2001. But unfortunate circumstances forced this poker room out of the poker scene until recently when it made a splash with the acquisition of Doyles Room.
On Oct. 13, 2011, America’s Cardroom Poker was able to acquire the Doyles Room player base as well as its software (Yatahay Network Software). So naturally, the players registered at Doyles were instantly transferred to America’s Cardroom Poker together with their account balance of course. It wasn’t very hard for the previous players to deal with this since the software is the same. The new site just had a new branding plus some aesthetic tweaks.
The software used at America’s Cardroom Poker is very simple, very basic and very user-friendly. So if you’re looking for a poker room where you can really play without fussing about so many buttons and getting distracted by 3D graphics, then America’s Cardroom Poker is the poker room for you. Because the software is so basic, you can even do multi-tabling of up to 20. All the important features are there too like resizable tables, fold/show option, table straddling or posting a third big blind, chat box, hand histories and more.
If you need help with anything, there’s always their FAQs section. But if you want to get answers right away, then you may call them, or email, or do a live chat with one of their support representatives.
America’s Cardroom Poker has better promotions than the previous Doyles Room such as seasonal promotions where players are able to get double FPP’s on holidays, plus more freerolls, as well as tons of Punta Cana satellite offering and prize packages.
Banking can be made through various ways in America’s Cardroom Poker and players won’t run out of options (NETeller, ClickandBuy, eCheck, Moneybookers, Direct Bank Transfer, Wire Transfer, INSTADEBIT, WebMoney, EntroPay, Visa, and Ukash).

America’s Cardroom Poker software is the same as the one used before in Doyles Room. This software is very similar to True Poker’s and this is because they’re both under the Winning Poker Network. As such, the layout is simple and very easy to navigate. Suffice it to say that the environment is very user-friendly.
Because of its simplicity, it affords the following features that poker players are looking for:
- Saving of hand histories to the player’s hard drive
- Table straddling
- Multi-tabling capabilities up to 20 tables
At America’s Cardroom Poker, playability is very easy to comprehend and the overall design is decent.
